Platinum games should start Kickstarter for the wonderful 101 PS4 and Switch Release

Diplomacy has failed.

Platinum games had many titles praised by the criticism, but unfortunately not many of them have managed to find a wide audience. While the last games of the developer went well, many were financial flops in their catalog. One of the largest was The wonderful 101, an action game under the direction of Hideki Kamiya, which is characterized by colorful heroes, raging struggles and the examination of their character ability. The game was originally published on the Wii u, and there were rumors and teases the company to give the title another chance. However, this could be different than expected.

According to GameExplain, the company will deal with the revival The wonderful 101, but it will do some crowdfunding. They say that the developer will start a kickstarter to bring it to PS4 and Switch with other systems, possibly as a route destination.

The wonderful 101 was originally a collaboration between Platinum and Nintendo. If this rumor applies, this could mean that Nintendo has sold the IP rights to Platinum. Platinum games has just started a new website that knows something that could be related to it. We'll keep you up to date.
