The new RAZER initiative allows users to give masks via Razer Silver

Razer, better known as a peripheral game company, led the #razerforlife campaign to support communities and businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic. Its last initiative allows Razer Cortex and Gold users to promise their Silver Razer at surgical masks donations.

Users can win Razer Silver by launching supported games from the Free Razer Cortex Game Optimization software, available for PC or Android. The game must appear on the list of paid games of the Razer Cortex software.

As a rule, Razer Silver can be used to exchange a variety of rewards, such as Razer hardware, digital gift cards or other games. Now users have the additional possibility of donating Razer Silver to support the fight against Covid-19. The Razer Silver promised will serve to donate surgical masks to front-line health workers around the world.

We call the community of players to do what we do better, stay at home and playing, and now for a good cause too, said Min-Liang Tan, CEO of Razer. The unique Ecosystem of Razer's hardware, software and services has always been focused on the player and we now have a way to enable the community of players to contribute directly to the main Razer COVID-19 initiatives. For those who have enough game to take up the challenge, we are delighted to see how many masks we can engage together. »

You can also win Razer Silver by spending Razer's virtual credit, Razer Gold, for games or game credits.

According to the press release, more than 30,000 masks have already been given by players promising their Silver Razer. In addition to the Razer Silver, Razer donations program has also committed to giving 1 million additional masks to affected communities around the world.
