Dying Light 2: System requirements have a little exaggerated

Tech land finally released the system requirements for the new Dying Light 2. The minimum requirements for the Open World title should meet most machines well, but the recommended hardware for 60 fps at 1080p with high graphics settings are a very nice house number. If you want to play the game with Ray Tracing, only the currently the strongest cards deliver the necessary performance.

System Requirements for Dying Light 2

To play the game at 1080p at 30 fps with low graphics settings, you need an Intel Core i3-9100 or an AMD Ryzen 3 2300x, eight Gigabyte RAM, and either a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or a Radon RX 560.

The recommended system requirements to play the game at 1080p at 60 fps with high graphics settings. For this purpose, an i5 8600k or a Ry zen 5 3600x, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD RX VEGA 56 is needed.

For Ray Tracing on low settings, an RTX 2070 is proposed to use the best ray tracing settings to 1080p / 60 fps, it requires an i5 8600K or a Ry zen 7 3700x, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3080.

The hardware recommended by Tech land for Ray Tracing is a bit strange overall. Finally, an RTX 3080 is a much stronger graphics card than the RTX 2070. There may be some problems with the optimization of the game, which is why such a powerful card is needed.

Dying Light 2 PC System Requirements Analysis

If players actually need a RTX 3080 resolution at a resolution of 1080p, it's almost impossible to get the game on 4K to run. Not to forget that it is still quite difficult to get in the possession of an RTX 3080.

Whether Tech land just wanted to go on a number safe in your system requirements, or the game actually needs the crème de la crème on hardware, we probably learn only on February 4, 2022 when Dying Light 2 (Buy Now) Stay Human for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and the Nintendo Switch appears.
