How balsa research works

The majority of balsa research implies the destruction of individual elaboration materials or other articles to unlock pieces of elaboration recipes. These are the basic concepts of research:

  1. Create a research table and place it on your raft.
  2. Open the book.
  3. Place a craft material or an object that you have not yet investigated in the research table slot.
  4. Press the research button. WARNING: The article will be destroyed in the process!
    1. If he says investigated, you have already investigated that article and you do not need to do it again.
    2. If the research button is red, you cannot investigate that article since it is not used in any preparation recipe.
  5. The slot for that article will now be unlocked in all the elaboration recipes that use it.
  6. If you unlocked new elaboration recipes, you must press the Learn button to add them to your elaboration list.

Here is a simple example: the stone ax requires 6 planks, 3 stones and 2 strings to manufacture. Putting a plank, a stone and a rope on the research table will unlock the stone ax. Y It will unblock the tank, stone and rope slots in all other recipes. Basically, you just need to investigate each individual craft material once.

This is how most of the investigation is done, but there are two other research systems in the game: plans and decoration packages.

How BALSA PLANS WORK

BALSA The plans will automatically grant you a new elaboration recipe as soon as you collect them. Once you have chosen a new plane, you will see a notice in the upper right of the screen that indicates that you have learned a new elaboration recipe.

However, once this is done, you must still add it to your elaboration menu. You must go to the research table and learn the new recipe that has just unlocked with the Blueprint.

Do you need to keep plans at balsa?

No, you don't need to keep blueprints in balsa. You can throw them as soon as you have collected because you will automatically learn the preparation recipe. However, you may want to keep them as a collection article.

Where to find balsa plans

This is where you can find all the planes that we have located so far:

Antenna flat

Opportunity for random falling floating barrels in the water.

Receiver flat

Opportunity for random falling floating barrels in the water.

How balsa Decoration Packages Work

BALSA Decoration packages work similar to the plans, with a difference: they will unlock a new elaboration recipe for a decoration, and the decorations tend to be more aesthetic than functional.

Keep in mind, however, that this does not mean that the decorations have no function. The paperwork, for example, can be used to destroy elements. The shelves can be used to store other decorations, and the cabinets have a small amount of storage space inside.

Where to find balsa decoration packages

You can find balsa decoration packages inside barrels, boxes and anywhere else where you can get ankle boots, such as chests and containers on the islands.
